I've never posted a ten things here on This Suburban Life, so I thought I'd start with ten things that are near and dear to my heart. With our move quickly approaching, here are ten things I am going to miss about our current home
:: sitting on this porch with a cup of tea and a good knit
:: the beautifully worn black and white tile on my bathroom floor
:: the Cararra marble counter top that my husband so graciously purchased for this very passionate baker
:: these old, weathered oak floors
:: all of the original 1940's hardware throughout the house
:: the largest and oldest Eastern Hemlock trees in the neighborhood
:: the light spilling in through the windows
:: a chandelier, given to us by dear friends, which sadly we agreed to leave behind
:: my hydrangeas - all eight of them in my beloved garden
:: the gorgeous brick walkway that meanders through my garden
We've lived here for seven years and it's all gone by in a flash. My husband and I met, fell in love, and bought this house together after only dating for a few months. We were married here, lost our beloved dog here, and had our two amazing children here. While I'm excited to begin this new chapter in our lives, I will always miss this home of ours and I will carry warm memories of it where ever I go.
