This year we purchased a membership to Ladew Topiary Gardens. We went a few times last year and the kids loved it, but it is much too expensive for a family of four to go several times a year without a membership. We've gone twice so far this spring and it is such a magical place. They have many different themed gardens, (my personal favorite is the rose garden that has yet to bloom), in addition to their famed topiaries located everywhere on the estate. The kids love walking the mile and a half wooded nature walk on the perimeter of the garden. They also have a cafe on the premises. We've been once and the food is pretty decent. I'm looking forward to watching the gardens change over the weeks to come and getting an occasional and very much needed change of scenery.
